Electrician

Venn Group is working with a large Housing Association in Hampshire to recruit Electricians to provide an excellent maintenance service to their customers across multiple areas in Hampshire.

Salary: up to £40,00 per annum DOE

Hours: 37.5 per week on call

Duration: Permanent

Location: Hampshire

The successful candidate will:

  • Carry out safe, high-quality electrical work with a focus on first-time fixes and compliance with BS7671 standards
  • Diagnose and repair faults and rewire domestic electrical systems in line with standards
  • Communicate progress and actions to customers and colleagues, escalating complex issues when necessary
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety policies and use appropriate tools and PPE
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and request necessary materials
  • Deliver complete electrical works in both occupied and unoccupied properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, and full rewires
  • Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as required
  • Keep the company vehicle in good condition and report any issues to the fleet manager
  • Support the development and training of apprentices and trainees
  • Undertake any other duties relevant to the role

The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3
  • 18th Edition
  • Full UK Licence (vehicle provided)
