Our clients have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join their growing team, they are open to seeing professionals just out of university with a relevant degree, or an experienced Electronics Engineer seeking a new opportunity with a growing and innovative engineering business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Working with our clients’ industrial products, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating new & adapting existing electronics designs into products to customer specifications.
- Knowledge of the below in electromechanical designs would be an advantage.

- Hall effect capacitive or inductive sensing technologies.
- CAN bus, CANopen LSS communication protocol.
- Programming– particularly with Microchip PIC18, 24- and 32-bit micros.
- Product validation including commissioning, EMC and ESD testing supported by external Labs.
- Proficiency in circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools.
- Proficiency using lab instruments (e.g. oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, vector network analysers)
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electronic systems during development and manufacturing.
- Familiarity with diagnostic protocols over CAN (e.g., J1939)
- Ability to write or modify simple embedded code (e.g., for configuration or test modes)
- Experience with automated test setups involving CAN communication
- Understanding of bootloaders or firmware flashing tools used in embedded systems
- Strong analytical skills including electronics simulation tolerance calculations on components, signal integrity analysis, and root cause investigation of circuit-level issues
- You will also be expected to provide technical support to our Product Management and Sales Teams, possibly including customer meetings and visits.
- This position will require the ability to work with all levels within the organisation
Required Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering (BSc/BEng or equivalent).
- Hall effect capacitive or inductive sensing technologies or interested to develop in this area.
- CAN bus, CANopen LSS communication protocol.
- Programming– particularly with Microchip PIC18, 24- and 32-bit micros.
- Product validation including commissioning, EMC and ESD testing supported by external Labs
- Altium or similar design tool is an advantage
- Building and verifying Gerber files
- Proven experience in managing engineering projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

Monday – Thursday 07:30am – 4:45pm
Friday – 07:30am – 12midday
