CMA HR Division is recruiting for an established organisation based in Winchester, Hampshire to recruit a Senior HR Advisor to join them on a fixed term basis for 6 months.

Reporting to the team leader this role provides guidance and support to senior leaders and through the management of individual employee relations casework. The successful candidate will contribute to the practical resolution of matters ensuring that employment decisions have regard to the needs of the business and take account of legislative requirements, relevant procedures, and good employment practice.   

What will Senior HR Advisor role involve?

  • Dealing with complex casework - coaching senior leaders to be equipped to best deal with a variety of cases.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with managers, staff and HR colleagues to ensure technical and statutory requirements are understood and achieved.
  • Contribute to overall policy development, ensuring departmental operational needs are balanced with consistent overall policy and practice.
  • Assisting with training sessions, liaising with management to deliver bespoke coaching.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to monitor and update HR policies in line with current legislation.
  • Ad hoc projects to support the team leaders and HR Manager.

Suitable Candidate for Senior HR Advisor vacancy:

  • Fellow or Chartered member of CIPD or equivalent experience or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to put the customer at the centre of what they do with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Extensive employee relations experience.
