*please note you must have your own vehicle to travel to site*£12.60 per hour plus SP £4.71 for working SaturdaysBased just outside of RomseyShifts offered on an-ad-hoc basis (Monday to Saturday 6am to 3:30pm)Overtime opportunitiesTraining and development opportunitiesOur client are looking for Hatchery Operatives to work on an ad-hoc basis as and when required for staff holiday cover.Please be sure to read the below description carefully as this role may not be suitable for everyone:* Ensuring chicks are sorted into the required grades and quantities, ready for farm delivery* Assisting in the effective movement of eggs from storage to incubating machines and then to hatching machines* Cleaning all equipment after use to the required high standards* Safeguarding bio security and following these strict procedures * Observing bird welfare and health and safety on site at all timesThe person:* Good level of basic English and numeracy skills* The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively * Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks* Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
