We’re partnering with a leading housing provider to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner (Development). This pivotal role sits at the heart of a high-profile housing transformation agenda, working alongside senior leaders to drive performance, manage risk and unlock opportunity across complex, multi-year programmes. You’ll be central to evaluating multi-million-pound investment proposals, steering performance, and helping to ensure the delivery of sustainable, socially impactful regeneration projects.

Key Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Serve as the go-to financial expert for the housing transformation team, offering commercial insight and strategic challenge across all activities including Retrofit, S106, and land-led developments.
  • Lead appraisal modelling, scenario analysis, and financial due diligence for major regeneration initiatives. Assess risk, optimise structures, and support key investment decisions.
  • Deliver forward-looking MI and financial reporting. Drive accountability through insightful analysis and collaboration with JV partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Shape accurate multi-year forecasts and cash flow projections to inform investment planning and Treasury strategy.
  • Continuously improve financial models and systems supporting regeneration, ensuring robust, high-quality data and analysis.

With a £100m annual capex and a substantial development pipeline, the scale and impact of your work will be both challenging and deeply rewarding. You'll have autonomy, exposure to executive leadership, and the chance to embed yourself in the heart of transformational change. The role will officially be based out of their offices in Hampshire, although opportunities to work from will be on offer for up to three days per week.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience providing strategic finance advice and business partnering at senior level
  • Strong financial appraisal and modelling skills, with experience in Real Estate or Housing sectors.
  • Deep understanding of development finance or financial planning.
  • Commercial acumen combined with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
