The role is a full generalist HR Manager position with an emphasis on Employee Engagement, ED&I, and Wellbeing. Our client is a well-respected, mid-sized law firm with offices in London and in Hampshire - and as such are happy to consider candidates in working out of either location, as long as you are flexible to attend the "other" office sometimes as well. They work hybrid, 3 days per week in the office and might even consider candidates who want to work part time (4 days per week, 2 in the office).Key duties include;
- Take the lead on employee wellbeing, providing guidance and support through a variety of strategies
- Design and manage the EDI events and initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders in the firm
- Manage complex employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management
- Develop and champion the firm’s programme of skills and compliance training
- Develop and implement initiatives supporting the career development of lawyers, partners, and support staff
- Manage the professional training programmes (CPS)
- Responsible for the management and mentoring of the HR Advisor and HR Administrator
- Jointly lead the HR team along with one other HR Manager, reporting into the HRD
- Work closely with the wider HR team to deliver on projects
