As the External Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on winning and developing major commercial accounts, working with clients across engineering, manufacturing, marine, defence, and industrial sectors.
This is a flexible hybrid role, combining home-based strategic planning with regular client visits across your territory.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving new business growth across the West of the A3 territory.
- Winning and developing large commercial accounts.
- Building relationships with decision-makers across diverse sectors.
- Conducting strategic research and preparation for quality client meetings.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client handovers.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success as a Business Development Manager, Technical Sales, or Commercial Sales professional.
- Experience in sectors such as metal stockholding, oil & gas, automotive, defence, marine, or precision engineering.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence engaging with major customers.
- A self-motivated, credible professional who thrives on autonomy and results.
