Senior Stress Engineer

Are you an experienced Stress Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems? Join a leading UK engineering company delivering mission-critical projects across highly regulated sectors, including nuclear and healthcare.

In this role, you'll take ownership of design analysis - from detailed hand calculations to FE analysis - ensuring designs are safe, efficient, and fit for purpose. You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, influence early-stage designs, and mentor junior engineers to build analytical excellence across the business.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in structural or stress analysis, ideally within a regulated environment.

  • Strong knowledge of BS EN 13001, BS 2573, Eurocode 3, and familiarity with FE tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS, or NASTRAN).

  • A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (Chartered Engineer preferred).

  • A practical, collaborative approach and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
