Job Title: Graduate / Assistant Town Planner
Location: WinchesterPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected independent planning consultancy based in the heart of Winchester, known for delivering high-quality planning advice across the South of England.
As the team continues to grow, they are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate or Assistant Planner to support a wide range of exciting projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your planning career in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role
- Assist in preparing planning applications, appeals, and representations.
- Conduct site appraisals and planning research.
- Engage with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Support senior colleagues in managing projects from inception to determination.
- Stay up-to-date with planning policy and legislation.
About You
- RTPI-accredited degree (completed or in progress towards Chartership).
- 1-2 years' experience in a planning consultancy or local authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of the UK planning system.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a small, agile team.
