Job Title: Town Planner / Senior Town Planner / Principal Planner
Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hybrid Working: Available (minimum 3-4 days per week in the office)
A well-established, multi-disciplinary property consultancy is seeking an experienced Town Planner, Senior Town Planner, or Principal Planner to join their growing planning team in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their planning career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
You will work on a broad range of planning projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills and be confident managing planning applications, liaising with stakeholders, and advising clients. Experience with larger-scale developments-especially those within the London area-is advantageous.
This position offers structured career progression, exposure to diverse and complex planning projects, and direct support from a close-knit, experienced team.
Key Requirements:
路Chartered Membership of the RTPI (MRTPI), or actively working towards it
路Minimum of 3 years' experience in town planning (private or public sector)
路Strong working knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy
路Proven track record in managing planning projects and applications
路Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders
路Experience with larger developments and London-based projects is highly desirable
路Ability to work independently and collaboratively
