Family Solicitor – Maternity Cover (6 months)Location: Hampshire | Start: 1st November

A well-established family law team in Hampshire is seeking a solicitor to cover maternity leave for six months. The role involves a broad range of private family work, including matrimonial matters, children, and injunctions. There is the potential for hybrid working after some time. The team is ideally seeking someone full-time but is open to candidates interested in a four-day week. Competitive hourly rates are offered.

Responsibilities• Provide matrimonial advice and representation, including separation, divorce, and financial matters• Advise and represent clients in children matters, including contact issues, child maintenance, and relocation• Advise and represent clients in injunction proceedings• Manage fixed fee services, including Change of Name Deeds and initial consultations for divorce, finances, and children matters• Work with the case management system Partner for Windows• Manage own caseload with secretarial support

Requirements• Experience handling a range of family matters, including children and financial proceedings• Strong client focus with excellent communication and organisational skills
