Join a multidisciplinary healthcare team working within a secure environment to deliver vital mental health support to patients in custody. In this role, you will:

Conduct thorough mental health assessments and provide 1:1 interventions

Manage a caseload of service users with a variety of mental health needs
-
Support medication administration, crisis care, and safeguarding processes
-
Collaborate with prison officers, GPs, psychiatrists, and external agencies
-
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold best practice standards
This is an ideal opportunity for a Band 6 RMN with prior prison experience looking for a consistent and rewarding contract.
Requirements & Qualifications:-
Current and valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse

Essential: Active prison clearance and previous custodial healthcare experience

Strong understanding of secure mental health services and clinical risk

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The contract is initially for 3 months ongoing, with a high likelihood of extension based on performance and service need.
