Associate Quantity Surveyor

Carriera has been retained to secure an Associate Quantity Surveyor by a prolific Consultancy in Winchester.

About the position:

Our client is a leading construction and property consultancy, they offer full turnkey built asset advice and development strategies to clients in the private and public sector. They are an award-winning advisor that has been classified as one of the best businesses' to work with or for.

The Cost Management team in Winchester is well established and led by one of the industry's most sincere and capable Partners. Over the years, they have been busy winning major initiatives with charities, corporate end users, developers and retailers. The cost management team head count has grown by 17% this month, and their goal is to develop the two teams in line with client requirements and to build out a third team to nurture and develop a new client base. You will be tasked to support the senior leadership in identifying, pitching and winning new work as well as leading projects and establishing a new team. Also, to mentor and develop junior staff with completing their APC.

Your experience will be within buildings rather than engineering, where you will have honed your pre and post contract expertise. It is expected that you will have ambitions to work towards senior leadership in the mid-term and wish to progress within the structure.

About you:

You will have completed a degree or master's in quantity surveying and have gained your chartership with the RICS. Experience of working within private practice or within a client organisation would be best suited and recent experience of working within the UK. You must be well presented, articulate and seek excellence in all that you undertake.
