SEN Teaching Assistants - Winchester * Learning Support / SEN Teaching Assistants * Winchester * ASAP Start * Secondary phase Academics are seeking hardworking, empathetic and committed Learning Support Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to join an SEN School in the Winchester area.To be considered as an SEN Teaching Assistant at this school you will need to be willing to work across year groups, with varying needs on a small group and 1:1 basis with pupils aged 11 - 19 years.SEN Teaching Assistants - Winchester They are looking for LSA's who are available ASAP to carry out various supply contacts including short term, long term and temp to perm position. Ideally you will need to be available Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm. You MUST:

  • Have recent experience of supporting in a school setting, ideally within an SEN school
  • Have a childcare/education related qualification e.g. CACHE 3 or NVQ3 in Childcare
  • Have experience of working with children with SEN/challenging behaviour
  • Be able to show good behaviour management skills.
  • Ideally be available full-time
  • Ideally be based in the Winchester area or happy to travel for work.
  • Be friendly and open to new challenges.
  • Qualifications such as Makaton, PECS, TeamTeach would be an advantage
