Academics is seeking committed Learning Support Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants for an SEN School in Winchester, starting in September.
Candidates must have recent experience in a school setting, particularly within an SEN environment, and hold a childcare or education-related qualification such as CACHE 3 or NVQ3 in Childcare.
The positions involve working with pupils aged 11 to 19 on a small group and 1:1 basis, with availability needed Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Experience with children with SEN or challenging behavior and good behavior management skills are essential for applicants.
The salary is competitive, and candidates should ideally have at least 1 year of relevant experience.

SEN Teaching Assistants - Winchester * Learning Support / SEN Teaching Assistants * Winchester * September Start * Secondary phase Academics are seeking hardworking, empathetic and committed Learning Support Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to join an SEN School in the Winchester area.To be considered as an SEN Teaching Assistant at this school you will need to be willing to work across year groups, with varying needs on a small group and 1:1 basis with pupils aged 11 - 19 years.SEN Teaching Assistants - Winchester They are looking for LSA's who are available ASAP to carry out various supply contacts including short term, long term and temp to perm position. Ideally you will need to be available Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm. You MUST:

Have recent experience of supporting in a school setting, ideally within an SEN school
Have a childcare/education related qualification e.g. CACHE 3 or NVQ3 in Childcare
Have experience of working with children with SEN/challenging behaviour
Be able to show good behaviour management skills.
Ideally be available full-time
Ideally be based in the Winchester area or happy to travel for work.
Be friendly and open to new challenges.
Qualifications such as Makaton, PECS, TeamTeach would be an advantage
