SEN Teaching/Learning Support Assistants Required in Windlesham, Surrey

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching/Learning Support Assistants to join a Special Needs School in the Windlesham, Surrey area, the school caters for young people aged 7 - 16 with an Autism Spectrum Condition and associated learning needs.

Due to the location, this role will ideally suit someone with their own transport

Daily Rate: 100

Location: Windlesham, Surrey

Contract Type: 5 days a week (Full-Time)

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Long Term

The successful applicants will have:

  • Previous experience working with Autism, Speech Language and Communication difficulties.
  • Previous experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Ideally experience working with children and/or young people.
  • Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check.

The role will consist of:

  • Offering support to the class teacher.
  • Provide support for individuals and groups of pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
  • Building good student - teacher rapport.
