Architectural Technician

Location: Windsor

Salary: 30-37,000

A respected architectural studio based in Windsor is looking to appoint an Architectural Technician as part of its continued growth. Known for its considered design approach and solid technical delivery, the practice works across a varied portfolio including residential, education, heritage and conservation, community, and leisure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and full construction packages
  • Support the preparation of planning applications and building control submissions
  • Coordinate technical details with external consultants and contractors
  • Ensure all drawings and specifications meet UK building regulations and relevant standards
  • Develop accurate working drawings using CAD and BIM software
  • Attend site inspections and project meetings when required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working within a UK-based architectural practice
  • Strong technical knowledge with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident using AutoCAD, with Revit and BIM experience considered an advantage
  • Good understanding of current UK building regulations
  • Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
