Production Engineer
Production Engineer needed for a manufacturing company in Windsor, Berkshire. The main role of a production engineer is to support and maintain SMT machines, conventional PCB assembly through to final assembly box build with a can-do attitude.

Production Engineer needed for a manufacturing company in Windsor, Berkshire. The main role of a production engineer is to support and maintain SMT machines, conventional PCB assembly through to final assembly box build with a can-do attitude.
Package for Production Engineer - Day Shift
- 37hrs per week
- Monday - Thursday 08:00-16:30
- Friday 08:00-13:00
- �32.700 - �34.900 per annum + key staff bonus
- Holiday - 5 weeks + bank holidays + long service extra days
- Pension Scheme - Auto Enrolment (5%+3% contributions)
- Free Parking on site
Key Responsibilities
- Converting customer supplied data into programs for production machinery.
- Competency with Computer Aided Manufacturing packages for printed circuit board assembly. (E.g. Circuit CAM, Factory Logics, Fuji CAM).
- Respond to breakdowns and perform maintenance tasks.
- Producing operator assembly guides, production aids and jigs.
- Support installation of machinery and equipment.
- Contribute to CI, NPI and DFM activities / Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
Experience/knowledge required as a Production Engineer - Day Shift
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Boards and components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach to breakdowns.
- Experience working with SMT machines (Siemens desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of MS Office suite, Drawing packages, Gerber data.
- Experience of stencil design and ordering.
- Familiar with MRP systems and BOM's.
- Knowledge of oven profiles and screen-printing process.
