Our Private Client are recruiting a Senior Speech and Language Therapist for their independent specialist day school in Windsor on a permanent basis.

About the school:

The school is an independent specialist day school that with both primary and secondary settings, providing education and support for a diverse group of pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support across specialist schools and children's homes for young people with complex needs.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support educational and residential staff in creating therapeutic living and learning environments.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualised interventions for young people.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure therapeutic support is integrated into all aspects of education, care, and support.
  • Offer consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to educational and residential teams.

Requirements:

  • Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
