M4 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and detail-oriented Fabric Cutting & Warehouse Operative. This hands-on role involves both fabric handling and warehouse responsibilities to support international order fulfilment. Youll be part of a team maintaining the highest standards in quality, accuracy, and presentation.
The ideal candidate will have a background in textiles or warehouse operations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Sewing or fabric handling experience is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Cut fabric accurately to customer specifications while maintaining quality standards
Inspect fabric deliveries and update fault reports clearly and consistently
Steaming and minor fabric repairs when needed
Ensure timely booking-in of received fabric (within 48 hours)
Assist with efficient stock allocation and minimising waste
Pick and prepare fabric rolls for cutting; return unused stock to shelves
Pack goods securely and professionally, following brand presentation guidelines
Prepare and attach shipping documents including delivery notes and airway bills
Receive and inspect goods; report damaged or missing items
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse and cutting floor environment
What Were Looking For:
Were looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You should be physically fit and able to lift heavy fabric rolls, with a stable work history. Previous experience in a warehouse or working with fabric is preferred. Basic computer literacy is also required.
