Salary: starting from £40ph - £50ph (negotiable depending on experience)

Job Overview
EC&I Partners are seeking an experienced EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) Design Engineer to join our clients office-based team in Winsford. This role involves designing, developing, and overseeing electrical and control systems for wastewater treatment projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design EC&I systems including control panels and instrumentation
- Produce technical drawings: layouts, schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams
- Prepare documentation: BOMs, FAT/SAT procedures, O&M manuals
- Liaise with clients and attend project meetings
- Provide technical support to site teams
- Ensure compliance with QMS, H&S, and relevant legislation
Requirements:
- Recognised apprenticeship or 4+ years in a similar role
- City & Guilds / BTEC (or equivalent) in EC&I discipline
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Electrical OM (or similar)
- COMPEX qualified with knowledge of DSEAR/DSD
- Strong understanding of hazardous areas and instrumentation
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport
