- £28,437.75 plus £330.34 Vetting allowance and £1,653.75 Driver allowance

Our client operates two interlinked businesses from its base in Cheshire: a major salt mining operation and a specialised document storage business. The Role
They are looking for a reliable and experienced Category C Driver to join their operations. You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of customer assets between their underground storage facilities and various UK locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various vehicle types including 18T & 7.5T box rigids, and 3.5T vans
- Deliver and collect customer assets securely and punctually
- Use PDT devices to accurately log handling data
- Carry out manual handling, palletising, wrapping, loading and unloading tasks
- Transfer documents between surface and underground facilities
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and transport standards (FORS & Van Excellence)
- Represent the company professionally at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

- Full, clean Category C driving licence
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Good UK geographical knowledge
- Comfortable driving long distances and across varied environments
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Trustworthy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to pass medical, references, CRB, and full police vetting
