Your new companyHays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a Winsford-based SEN school that is Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" that supports pupils from years 7-11 with a variety of complex needs. This is a long-term full-time contract starting in September 2025 that will last the entirety of the academic year.Your new roleIn your new role you will be joining an extremely supportive and welcoming team of educational professionals. You will be supporting pupils aged between 11-17 who have a variety of SEN and individual EHCP's. You will build strong constructive relationships with your new pupils by taking a pupil-centred approach to their learning and getting to know them as individuals, which in turn will promote their learning and engagement. All pupils within this school are extremely engaged in their learning and are high functioning. Therefore, they are working inline with the KS3 and KS4 national curriculum. You will deliver intervention and booster sessions in all core subjects to ensure that they reach their attainment goals and full academic potential.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as a minimum of 40 days referenceable classroom-based experience, as well as:

  • The ability to hold intervention and booster sessions in core subjects, up to GCSE level
  • Experience working with SEN
  • An NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not essential
