We are currently looking for a strong electrical engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Winsford. We are looking for a highly skilled Multi-skilled Electrical Engineer to join the maintenance and engineering team, working on a range of heavy plant and mining machinery. You’ll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of large-scale mechanical and electrical systems.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining critical heavy machinery to the highest standards.

Responsibility’s:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on heavy plant and mining equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems, including HV machinery
  • Work with PLCs, drives, and control systems to identify and resolve issues
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standards
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability across the site
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to minimise downtime

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
  • Heavy Plant background – desired
