Role: Stock AuditorDepartment: StoresJob Title: Stock AuditorReporting to: Stores ManagerWorking Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday-Friday with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday.Key Objectives:Reporting to the Stores Manager you will be responsible for ensuring accurate counts of stock, identify discrepancies and follow up with the relevant department. Each day you will complete stock checks through the whole of the business.Responsibilities include:* Complete accurate stock checks and audits whilst recording this correctly* Completing daily routine stock checks* Identifying and problem solving with any discrepancies found* Find ways to reduce or eliminate future inventory errors* Inspecting the business to ensure stock levels are correct * Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations* Maintaining production area housekeeping* Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently* Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner* Assist within the stores operations team, flexibility required* Maintaining a safe working environment at all timesThe company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties. We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks.Key Skills and Experience: * Effective communication skills* Structured approach to record keeping* IT skills including the use of tablets/computer software is essential* Counterbalance/Reach Truck Licence is advantageous* Organised, proactive and self motivated individual* Ability to work to tight deadlines* Ability to ensure production output target and quality is maintainedEmployee Benefits:£13.84 per hour.Overtime Monday - Friday paid at 1.25 x the hourly rate.Overtime on weekends paid at 1.5 x the hourly rate.Holiday purchase scheme every January.39-hour week with flexible start and finish times.Early finish Fridays.Enhanced parental leave.25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro-rata for the length of service.
