Rate: £350 per day CIS

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a vibrant and friendly projects team to oversee small works construction projects across a varied commercial portfolio in Cheshire.

Someone of a commercial contracting background on the build or M&E side is essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Take full responsibility for managing the delivery of small works construction projects. 
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage electrical subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards. Regularly monitor performance and progress.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant healthcare regulations, industry standards, and health & safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the client, project team, and subcontractors. Regularly update stakeholders on progress, risks, and any issues that may arise, providing solutions where necessary.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring that costs are managed effectively and within allocated limits. Oversee the project schedule and ensure timely delivery of electrical works in line with the overall renovation timeline.

     

Essential Requirements:

  • Extensive Knowledge: Strong technical background.
  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing multiple small projects with, subcontractor coordination and meeting tight deadlines in a live environment.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams.

Health & Safety Focused: Knowledge of industry regulations and experience in implementing and maintaining strict health and safety standards on-site.

  • Black card & SMSTS essential
  • Driving licence
  • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check essential
