Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing and production industry, is on the lookout for an experienced Machine Operative to join their team in Winsford.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity and will also offer progression within the company for the right candidate.

Position: Machine Operative Location: Winsford
Contract Type: Temp to perm Rate of pay: 13.50ph (plus a monthly bonus once perm for full attendance)
Working hours: 6am - 2:45pm Monday - Thursday and 6am - 12pm Friday (40 hours standard week)
As a Machine Operative, your role will be vital in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Here's what you can expect:
- Loading materials: Prepare the machine by loading it with materials, setting the stage for production.
- Programming the Machine: Use your technical skills to programme the machine according to specific job requirements, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Running the Programme: Oversee the entire process as you run the programmed operations, monitoring the machine's performance for any adjustments needed.
- Palletising Cut Materials: Once the cutting is complete, you will be responsible for palletising the cut material, readying it for delivery and storage.
- Maintaining the Machine: Keep the machinery in top condition through regular maintenance and troubleshooting, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a machine operative role is a must!
- Strong attention to detail, numerate and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance.
- Team player with a positive attitude and great communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
