Academics are currently looking for passionate and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teachers to work in their partnership secondary schools in the Cheshire West & East. Working as a supply teacher is an ideal way to explore a variety of different schools before applying for a long term or permanent post and additionally supply is an excellent way to boost your classroom experience for your CV!

Supply opportunities can be beneficial for recently qualified teachers (ECTs) as they could potentially lead to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools.

Physical Education Teachers who apply for our supply opportunities must:

  • Hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Have strong classroom management and you can easily build good rapport with students.
  • Deliver exciting and engaging PE lessons using your own initiative and have good knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Happy to travel and to be able to get to our partnership schools in the Cheshire by 8.30am with sometimes only 30-60 minute's notice for our on the day supply.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through ourselves (cost applied).

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, the supply requirement (short or long term) and the client rate that is currently available.
