Job Type: Permanent, Part Time (5 hour, 16 hour, and 32 hour contracts available)

Founded in 2005, Archangel Care began with a single, locally based residential unit for adults with learning disabilities. It has subsequently grown year on year and now has three branches covering Nottingham, Staffordshire and West Cheshire. From the Cheshire branch we cover Winsford, Northwich, Middlewich, Runcorn and Frodsham.

We provide Supported Living Accommodation and Outreach Support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Our customers are all very different with their own individual needs and interests, and we tailor their support to help them live a happy and fulfilled life, assisting them to access the community and complete everyday tasks such as shopping, cooking, finances, housework.

Hours and Pay

  • We have a variety of shifts available including earlies, lates, one-to-ones and sleeping shifts.
  • Working alternate weekends is essential.
  • We can offer full-time and part-time contracts: 5 hours, 16 hours or 32 hours - permanent contracts
  • Sleep shift hours are additional.
  • We pay a basic rate of £11.44 per hour with enhancements for overtime - £12.25 per hour for o/t in the week, £12.50 for overtime at the weekend and up to double time for festive bank holidays.
  • Sleep shifts (attached to an early or a late shift) are paid at £ per hour (11am-7am). You are there in case of an emergency only.
  • Our staff have a lot of control over their pay, which includes weekly or monthly pay and flexible options for accrued holiday pay. Plus, we pay a mileage contribution and factor travel time into your pay when applicable.

Bonus Scheme

  • We have a generous bonus scheme which includes a payment of £170 for completing your probationary period (for full time Contracts), and we have a refer a friend scheme which will pay £200 to the person that makes the referral once the new candidate has completed their probationary period.
