Job title: WelderDepartment: ProductionHours: Days Mon-Fri 07.30 - 16.30 (30-minute lunch break with 15.30 Friday finish), Nights Mon-Thurs (19.45pm - 06.00am with 30-minute lunchbreak) Key Objectives:You will be responsible for welding assemblies to a high level of quality. You will be able to read and understand technical drawings and specification sheets and be able to identify weld symbols. You will be responsible for carrying out precision measurements and accurately marking out. You must be able to select the correct materials and be skilled in cutting materials by burning, disc cutting or by machine. Responsibilities Include:路 Following technical drawings and specification sheets路 MIG welding to a high standard路 Responsibility for your own PPE and welding equipment路 Must be able to work individually or as part of a team to meet production targets.路 Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues路 Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations路 Maintaining production area housekeeping路 Minimize waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently.路 always Maintaining a safe working environment The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties. We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks.Key skills and experience:This role is ideally suited to a hands on, organised, proactive and self-motivated individual.
