KPI are recruiting for Skip Drivers in Bromsborough area of the Wirral , Working for a National Contractor and one of the Leading waste companies in the UK

Basic Rate

£14.29 per hour

Weekly Pay 

Overtime

£17.86 per hour after 45 hours

Based at our clients Bromborough depot, you will operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to safely and efficiently transport waste materials to/from our facility. Your work is essential to maintaining our operational efficiency, environmental standards, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description 

• Waste Transportation: Safely operate HGV vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver waste materials to designated locations.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to keep vehicles in top condition.
• Route Planning: Plan efficient routes for timely waste collection and delivery.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and any incidents.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service and address any client inquiries professionally.
• Environmental Responsibility: Support recycling and waste diversion to reduce environmental impact 

Requirements 

• Valid HGV Class 2 driver's licence.
• CPC Qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Previous HGV driving experience, preferably in waste management or a related industry.
• Knowledge of HGV vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
• Strong driving and navigation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
