Desian Education Wirral are seeking a strong and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team and work within a Bebington based Wirral primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children in their early years education journey. This role is starting in September 2025 and is for the first half-term intially but could continue into the full academic year for the right candidate. This role is ideal for a qualified level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or an ECT looking for a half-term of SEND experience in an excellent, welcoming primary school.

The role involves:

  • Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, child-centered learning activities.
  • Assisting SEND children in their learning and personal development, ensuring every child thrives.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Observing and assessing pupil progress and communicating effectively with staff and parents.
