Our client, a leading name in food manufacturing, is looking for a Hygiene Supervisor to drive excellence, uphold compliance, and inspire a culture of quality across the site.
As the Hygiene Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of maintaining world-class standards, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently, and audit-ready every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Hygiene Team, managing daily operations to deliver exceptional hygiene and food safety performance.
- Oversee all cleaning schedules-including daily, deep clean, allergen, and tank cleans-ensuring full compliance with BRC, retailer, and legislative standards.
- Champion continuous improvement, driving Quality & Food Safety metrics, and supporting the site's QFSI and Gold Standard hygiene systems.
- Collaborate with Production, Technical, and Training teams to embed best practices and enhance site-wide hygiene performance.
- Maintain COSHH and CIC compliance, ensuring all documentation, procedures, and chemical controls are up to date.
- Own audit readiness, ensuring the site consistently achieves BRC Grade A and customer technical compliance.
- Monitor and manage hygiene consumables within budget, maintaining stock control and driving cost efficiency.
- Contribute to the internal audit program, identifying risks, escalating issues, and supporting pest control and laundry management.
What you'll need:
- Experience within a hygiene role within food manufacturing is essential to be considered
- Own transport
- Experience in managing or supervising hygiene staff
