Gap Personnel is recruiting Fabricators/Welders for a company in the Bromborough area.
The role involves light and heavy fabrication on mild and stainless steel, including MIG and TIG welding.
Candidates are required to have a City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding and experience with structural steel.
The position offers a starting pay rate of £19.00 per hour and could lead to a permanent contract for suitable candidates.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm.

Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Fabricators/Welders for a company based in Bromborough area.

The position is ongoing with a possibility of going into a permanent contract for suitable candidates.

The Role:

Light and heavy fabrication on mild and stainless steel.
MIG welding..
TIG welding.
Working on structural steel.
Working from engineering drawings
Marking out, section cutting.
Making balustrades, handrails, staircases, machinery guards etc.
Working in structural & architectural steel projects.
Pipework.

Requirements:

City and Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding
Knowledge of light and heavy steel fabrication processes
Familiarity with hand and power tools use within fabrication.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Experience with TIG/ MIG / Structural Steel/ Mild Steel
Site work required.
Full UK Drivers licence

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 16:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 15.30pm

Pay rate:

Starting at £19.00 ph
