Deliver planned lessons and learning activities across KS2
Support the class teacher in implementing the curriculum
Provide targeted support for pupils in small groups or one-to-one
Assist with planning and preparation of resources
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion within the classroom
Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are upheld at all times

Ideal KS2 HLTA:

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience is essential
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Ability to lead learning activities independently
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting pupils
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
