Berry Recruitment are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Specialist to manage weekly and monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll and provide key HR administrative support for a busy establishement based in Wisbech.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll:

  • Process weekly/monthly payroll via Sage 50 Payroll.

  • Verify timesheets and upload weekly rotas.

  • Manage pension scheme administration.

  • Ensure compliance with HMRC and payroll legislation.

HR Support:

  • Coordinate recruitment tasks (advertising, scheduling, correspondence).

  • Maintain employee files and HR records.

  • Support onboarding, inductions, and return-to-work meetings.

  • Assist with disciplinary and performance-related processes.

  • Keep HR documentation and policies up to date.

Requirements:
  • Experience in Payroll is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and employment law.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and admin skills.

  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
