Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £47,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days and Nights)

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Wisbech. Key Responsibilities:

Perform both planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operational performance.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults across a range of equipment, including motors, drives, conveyors, and automated systems.
Work with PLC systems, including diagnostics, programming, and fault resolution (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar systems).
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to maintain high performance and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and help resolve technical issues.
Assist in the installation, modification, and upgrading of electrical systems and machinery.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime across production lines.

Key Requirements:

Recognized electrical engineering qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLC programming (preferably Siemens, Allen Bradley), and automation systems.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with a wide range of electrical components including motors, drives, control panels, and wiring.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across a shift pattern.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices and regulations.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement and team collaboration.
