Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an FMCG manufacturer based in Wisbech to recruit an experienced Maintenance Shift Leader.
Salary: £55,500 - including Shift allowance
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Nights)

The Maintenance Shift Leader will oversee and coordinate a team of Engineers to ensure the maintenance of all plant equipment and the improvement of it when necessary.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Shift Leader will include:
- Plan and prioritise the shift workload
- Execute the planned preventative maintenance schedule to maximise machinery uptime and minimise disruption to production targets
- Organise and plan for equipment outages to minimise disruption
- Ensure all plant and equipment adhere to all relevant legislation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure the team adheres to good manufacturing practices
- Train and develop team members
Qualifications and skills of the Maintenance Shift Leader include:
- HNC in Engineering
- Apprentice trained in a relevant vocation
- Multi skilled or either electrical or mechanical bias
- Previous experience within a FMCG industry
- Demonstratable knowledge of manufacturing machinery and processes
- Has people management, leadership, or supervisory experience and can lead a diverse workforce
- Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role
