We have an opportunity to join a small team producing a high-quality food based product in Witham. What You'll Be Doing:

As a Production Operative, you'll be working shift patterns across seven days including earlies and lates with the potential for a mixture of 12 hours shifts days and nights in the future, taking ownership of key production processes. The Pay will be between 38,000 to 40,000 depending on experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Operating food manufacturing machinery - including roaster drums, filling equipment, coolers, and storage systems
Monitoring and achieving product quality - ensuring our products meet the required colour and standards
Managing stock movement - liaising with different teams to ensure raw material availability
Keeping detailed records - both paper-based and digital, ensuring compliance with quality procedures
Maintaining cleanliness - keeping production areas to a high standard
Working independently - much of this role involves solo working, so self-motivation is key

What We're Looking For/the must haves:

A reliable and proactive team player with a strong work ethic and physically fit and healthy
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (food industry experience is a plus!)
Comfortable working shifts, including weekends
Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
Basic IT skills for data input and record-keeping
