We are urgently seeking a Civil Engineer with strong client-side experience to support the expansion of a major infrastructure site. This is a high-impact role working directly with senior engineering leadership to deliver complex, large-scale development projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
?? Key Responsibilities:- Lead coordination of third-party suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Collaborate with internal teams (planning, legal, estates, environment) to drive project delivery.
- Oversee civil and building works, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
- Manage budgets, contractor claims, and project milestones.
- Conduct site setting out, surveying, and material tracking.
- Prepare documentation for regulatory approvals and contracts.
- Liaise with stakeholders and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure health & safety compliance across all activities.
- Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in infrastructure projects – ideally construction, civil engineering, port, or industrial environments.
- Strong project management and procurement skills.
- Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, or industrial development is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Full UK (or equivalent) driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
- No unspent criminal convictions.
