CNC Miller - Precision Engineering | Witham

- Location: Witham, Essex
- Monday to Friday: Flexible start & finish times between 6.00am to 5.00pm
- 40 hours per week
A well-established precision engineering company based in Witham is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their team. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate 3 and 4-axis CNC milling machines, primarily Hurco models, to manufacture high-precision components.
- Program CNC machines at the control panel and assist with offline programming when required.
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in CNC Milling, with a strong ability to set and operate CNC machines.
- Proficient in using Hurco CNC Mills.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric dimensions.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to achieving high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
