CNC Miller - Precision Engineering | Witham

  • Monday to Friday: Flexible start & finish times between 6.00am to 5.00pm
  • 40 hours per week

A well-established precision engineering company based in Witham is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their team. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate 3 and 4-axis CNC milling machines, primarily Hurco models, to manufacture high-precision components.
    • Program CNC machines at the control panel and assist with offline programming when required.
    • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient production.
    • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal machine performance.
    • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in CNC Milling, with a strong ability to set and operate CNC machines.
    • Proficient in using Hurco CNC Mills.
    • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric dimensions.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to achieving high-quality standards.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
