Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Lead People Partner to join a public sector organisation in Essex. We are looking for a strategic HR professional to make an meaningful impact, supporting workforce transformation and driving cultural change across the service. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented team, work closely with senior leaders and play a key role in shaping a values-led, inclusive and high performing organisation.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of People Partners
  • Drive the implementation of people and culture strategies
  • Lead employee relations casework, including complex or escalated matters
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing across all workstreams
  • Collaborate on policy development and the change management process
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders
  • Deliver meaningful insights from workforce data to support decision-making

Required Skills & Desired Experience:

  • MCIPD or equivalent relevant professional qualification
  • Significant experience in leading HR functions and delivering strategic outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR policy
  • Influence and implement initiatives that shape organisational culture, behaviours and values
  • Experience handling complex HR casework, including employment tribunals
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills at senior level
  • Strong analytical ability and sound judgement in complex situations
  • A values-driven approach with a strong focus on inclusion and integrity
  • ILM Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent
  • Experience within a public sector or unionised environment
  • Budget or resource management experience
