We are currently recruiting a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join a logistics company in Witham, Essex ASAP! This is an office-based role, working 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday, paying up to 12.82 per hour. This is an initial 6-week temporary position but could be extended.
Key Duties:
- Support the Purchase Ledger team to ensure all supplier invoices are managed in line with company policies and procedures.
- Managing the accounts inbox.
- Reconciling statements using VLOOKUP and other Excel tools.
- Posting and coding invoices.
- Dealing with invoice queries.
- Posting invoices and obtaining approval where needed for sign-off.
- Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Excel Requirements:
- Solid experience with VLOOKUP.
- Confidently able to navigate and manipulate Excel, moving efficiently between sheets and workbooks.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts.
- Team player with good customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
