The Role

As Finance Manager, you will be a key player in leading financial operations and improvements within the organisation. You will work closely with the finance team and senior stakeholders to drive efficiency and ensure robust financial management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the month-end process, ensuring AP and AR are completed on time

  • Preparation of management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Reviewing and improving financial processes to enhance operational efficiency

  • Managing and supervising a small finance team, providing guidance and support

  • Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to improve procurement procedures

  • Overseeing internal controls, ensuring compliance and consistency in financial operations

  • Supporting year-end processes, liaising with auditors and providing financial reports as required

  • Overseeing invoicing procedures and ensuring timely approvals from the finance team

Person Specification

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent

  • Experienced in management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Tenure in financial accountancy, being able to create financial reports
  • Comfortable managing a small team and providing guidance on financial operations

  • Highly proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems

  • Capable of overseeing the month-end process and ensuring it runs smoothly

  • Experienced in presenting financial information to senior stakeholders

  • Proactive in process improvement and comfortable managing change

  • Familiar with managing internal controls and financial compliance
