A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting an Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary - permanent basis. This is a part-time position working 22 hours per week across 3 days (Fridays essential) starting ASAP. Paying 19.75 - 23.38 per hour (38,000 - 45,000 pro rata) depending on experience.
Working in a team of 2 with 1 direct report, your key duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and monitoring.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Present findings to the board and suggest cost-saving measures.
- Identify risks, propose solutions, and manage stakeholders.
- Handle payroll, VAT, HMRC returns and cashflow forecasts.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Prepare accruals, prepayments and audit processes.
- Ensure legal compliance and build external relationships.
- Drive improvements in accounting practices.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Finance Manager position:
- AAT level 4 qualified
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in using Sage, Excel, Word, Access and Paperless
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Analytical thinking and data-driven
