We are currently recruiting a Mobile Mechanical Engineer with electrical experience to join our clients' team on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent after a successful probation period.
Base Location: Witham
Coverage Area: Southeast, East Anglia & parts of London
(Occasional work in the Midlands - overnight stays required, accommodation provided)
The Role
- Working as an extension of the client's maintenance team
- Rebuilding, maintaining, and repairing all types of conveyor systems
- Mobile role supporting various client sites
- Typical working hours 6:00am - 6:00pm (often shorter depending on workload)
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineer with electrical experience
- Proven experience working on conveyor systems
- FMCG experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites
- Full UK driving licence
Pay & Benefits
- 20-22 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Company van provided after 3-month probation
- Opportunity to transition to a permanent position
- Overnight accommodation provided for Midlands work
