A well-established client based in the Witham area is currently looking to recruit a Materials Planner to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity, working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, offering 14.42 - 16.82 per hour (30,000 - 35,000 per annum), depending on experience.

Key responsibilities within this Materials Planner role include (but are not limited to):
* Coordinating, planning, and tracking material flow to support production and delivery targets
* Creating and managing material requirements planning (MRP) in line with production schedules
* Working closely with suppliers to address shortages, delivery delays, and urgent order requirements
* Ensuring ERP/MRP systems are kept accurate and supplier performance data is maintained
* Assisting with new product or project launches to ensure materials are available in line with timelines

Skills and experience required for this role:
* Previous experience in materials planning, production control, or supply chain coordination (automotive or engineering background desirable)
* Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems and inventory management processes
* Strong organisational skills with a proactive, problem-solving approach and excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with suppliers
