Fabricator (Aluminium)

Aluminium Fabricator - Witham, Essex - Up to 13 per hour - Temp to Perm:

We're working with a leading manufacturer in the fenestration industry who are looking for an experienced Aluminium Window and Door Fabricator to join their growing production team in Witham. This is a temp - perm, full-time role offering stability, great working hours, and the opportunity to work with high-quality aluminium products.

The Role:

As a Fabricator, you'll be responsible for producing and assembling aluminium windows, doors, and glazing systems to the highest industry standards.

Duties include:

• Fabricating aluminium windows, doors, and related systems from job specifications
• Operating saws, punch tools, routers, and crimping equipment
• Assembling frames, sashes, and fittings with precision
• Cutting and preparing aluminium profiles for fabrication
• Carrying out quality checks and rectifying any production issues
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Reporting material shortages or machinery faults to the supervisor

Experience required:

• Previous experience in aluminium fabrication (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication sheets and technical drawings
• Confident using hand and power tools in a production setting
• Knowledge of aluminium systems such as Reynaers, Schco, Smart, Kawneer, AluK, or Sheerline is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and quality control

Hours & Pay:

• Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00 (2 x 30-minute breaks)
  Friday: 07:00 - 15:30 (1 x 30-minute break)
  40 hours per week
  Up to 13.00 per hour, depending on experience
