To oversee the implementation and development of the company Supply Chain strategy to help the company achieve its goals.
- Manage the supply chain function on a day-to-day basis.
- Identify and communicate with suppliers, subcontractors.
- Support, long-term supplier relationships focusing on value for money, service & product quality.
- Provides open feedback to the supply chain on performance and competitiveness.
- Holds review meetings with the supply chain as and when required.
- Identifies and communicates effectively with potential suppliers; carrying out due diligence, monitoring integration and effectiveness into the business
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
- Strategic understanding of business and the strategic importance of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management *
- Contractual & Commercial knowledge and understanding *
- Continuously keeping knowledge up to date on Purchasing and Supply developments
- Influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and motivation coach and develop team
