Site & Maintenance Technician/Engineer
Location: Witham
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000
Shift Pattern: Weekly rotation - 05:15-14:00 & 14:00-22:30 - Saturday overtime required on a rotational basis to support production
Role Overview
We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Site & Maintenance Technician/Engineer to join our client's Witham team. This role is key to ensuring site and equipment run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You'll play a vital part in reducing downtime and supporting the day-to-day operations of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the site as required
- Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Complete routine repairs and equipment upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ or equivalent experience
- Full UK driving licence
- First Aid trained (or willing to train)
- Forklift licence (or willing to train)
- Solid knowledge of general building maintenance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
- Awareness of H&S regulations
Please note; due to the hours / shift pattern; if you do not reside in central Witham; you will need to be a car driver as public transport does not serve the site based on the hours.
